Why Our Physical Therapy Clinic Is Different

Physical therapy at OrthoCare Georgia is a core part of how we take care of you—not just something we send you out for after a visit. By opening our own PT clinic in the same year we opened the practice, we can guide you from diagnosis to rehab with one connected team.

Your therapist can see your OrthoCare notes, talk directly with Dr. Ghattas about your progress, and adjust your plan so everyone is working toward the same goal: getting you back to the life you want to live.

Meet Gordy

With 25+ years of experience in physical therapy, he helps patients move better, recover stronger, and feel confident in their care. Gordy specializes in orthopedic care, sports rehab, spine, back, and neck conditions, joint replacement recovery, shoulder pain, geriatric, and neurological rehabilitation, using a straightforward, hands-on approach that makes rehab clear, practical, and manageable.

Gordy Harrison is a familiar face in the Riverdale community—and he’s happy to be back.

If you haven’t been to physical therapy before, here’s what a typical first appointment looks like.

01. Check in and review your information and referral

02. Talk with your therapist about your pain, history, and goals

03. Go through a movement and strength assessment

04. Review what’s going on in plain language and outline your plan

05. Start treatment and receive simple exercises to do at home

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in, and try to choose clothing that makes it easy to access the area we’re treating.

Because our PT clinic is part of OrthoCare Georgia, your therapist can coordinate directly with Dr. Ghattas and the rest of your orthopedic team. Your rehab plan aligns with your diagnosis, imaging, injections, and surgery when needed.

You don’t have to be an existing OrthoCare patient to come here. We welcome referrals from orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, urgent care providers, and other clinicians throughout Riverdale and nearby communities. A referral is required for all patients.
